I might've been here for like 10+ years but just recently I noticed that a lot of popular non bl works don't nearly get as much attention nor comments (prolly bc I don't check comment section), older works that were uploaded regularly in their prime still get like 20 pages of comments
to be fair I read my non bls somewhere else but it does seem like there are tons of works in non bl genres...was it that mgg was just not as popular as now or the comment section wasn't a thing in like 2011 and older?

So ever since this site messed up the bookmarked mangas and such I have not gotten anyone back so I am trying to find some thst I was reading but forgot the name of so right now im looking for a manga which I dont fully remember but this is what I remember of it right now

Not sure if it was yaoi or shounen ai but the mc lived in a city where everyone had to be perfect or something like that. the mc sneaks out of that city to an older part of the city with broken houses when he was a child to find his brother but he finds a deaf child who he starts hanging out with, the mc then promises to come back but when he was evaluated he was no longer perfect and was slowly losing his eyesight if I remember it correctly so he was locked in together with many other people who also had some kind of imperfections where they were forced to do labor. after a few years he was able to escape and meet up with the deaf boy but that boy though he got abandoned by mc and there was tension between them and they they were trying to get a car working to get away from danger togheter and there was two other people there to.

I read this post and feeling devastated since then. WTF is happening in -China- North Korea 2.0?!

I was doing research about mangago reading liat reset, lot of people saying it'll come back slowly but mine is not coming back at all... is there no hope getting back my reading list or anyone have the solution of this?

Everytime I read the comments of a clearly fucked up manga there's always one comment saying "well if you don't like it don't read it" like bitch- are you fr?

Just because I don't like what's happening doesn't mean I'm just gonna drop that shit, I read it bc I don't like what's happening (if that makes any sense). People read for the shock and horror and every other fucked up thing in the manga, just because I say some normal shit about how I think r@pe is bad or unnecessary doesn't mean I'm not invested in the story or anything.

I have dropped many things because I couldn't stand what the author was creating, I even have a whole list dedicated to books that I finished and hated as some sort of badge saying "yeah I read it all, yeah it's just as bad as expected" or telling others "beware this is actually excusing some fucked up things. "

Is this just me who hates when people say this??? Like- it's so often I see it for manga I read that suddenly get fucked up or manga that had underlying issues that surfaced in a recent chapter.
