Yeah, that's pretty reasonable. Closeness requires a process. It is natural for us to be closer to people we have known for a long time or who have the same frequency of thought. It's okay, actually relationship are overrated anyways. You can enjoy your alone time, and not having to deal with random dramas every other days. I am of the belief to stop treating love like it's the only thing that gives life meaning. If someone comes along, great. If they don't, your life shouldn't be on hold waiting for them.
