WHAT IN THE FUCK WAS THAT?? shit, that’s a whole new level of brutal... it might just be one of the worst cases (?) i’ve seen thus far, and i’ve seen A LOT of depravity since the dawning of my manhwa days... ohhh, man. poor muyoung :(

omfg, i ADOOOORE this so fucking much. truly. initially came here for the smut and amazing art style, but the characters really grew on me super quickly—despite there only being 10 chapters out there. ;_; best bois

oh, i absolutely LOVE this. i really didn’t think i would, but man, here we are nonetheless!!! overall, very unique characters and dynamics between said characters. i genuinely appreciate them as a couple, too—which is indeed very strange, given how we started out. this is all very new to me, lol! can’t say i’m disappointed with the story’s development, though. we’ve got two broken pieces who still found a way to fit together perfectly and make it work in the long-run. love to see it!

and hey, let’s not forget about the GORGEOUS art style while we’re at it, too! man, nothing about this feels ordinary to me. the plot, the art, the characters, the ride of emotions… 10/10, i’d say. maybe i’m the weird one for thinking that, but that’s my opinion nevertheless. two negatives do make a positive, after all! it’s basic math, hehehe. ;)

side note: i know this isn’t your typical 10/10 story for most people, but i review based on my personal experiences and feelings while reading. given the fact that i straight up binged this in one sitting and never got bored, i’d say that’s reason enough to give it 5 stars. i’m kinda disappointed there aren’t any more bonus chapters. ;(

ohhh! much, MUCH better than expected. i absolutely loved it! great character development, too. i really didn’t think we’d see this much growth for or with these two. i’m very pleased. (′ꈍᴗꈍ‵)

ahhh, this is extraordinary. absolutely ADORE the art-style! gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS. it makes my body feel all tingly and shit, ughhh. love the dynamics between or two mains, too!!! (i don’t even care how bad this makes me look, lmfao.) the sexual tension is killingggg meeee, man… they’re so hot. big mercenary queen energy + big mafia dick energy = TOXIC SUCCESS. <33 who doesn’t appreciate a solid power-couple with mental issues and violent tendencies, aye? i know i sure do. (mr. and mrs. smith and got nothin’ on youuu.)

edit: we’ve come so far and omfg i LOVE them as a couple. such a power duo. so sad it’s already over, though. ;_; it’d be nice if we could get an epilogue or possible bonus chapters, but i’m not holding my breath. either way, i’ve thoroughly enjoyed this book! not gonna lie, i’m probably gonna reread this at some point.

ohhh, my god. oh my god. OH. MY. GOD.

this is fucking VICIOUS. brutal and violent and bloody and i don’t even know where to start. i didn’t even read the manhwa in full (i browsed through some chapters all over the place to figure out which genre to put it in and ended up kinda sticking around for a bit), but i can already tell this one’s gonna consume me wholly once i truly immerse myself in the story. i couldn’t possible even BEGIN to imagine the kind of pain and torture these two would’ve had to suffer through. i’m getting anxious just from the small parts i’ve managed to see thus far. INSANE.

i’m having really mixed feelings about this… this shit is so toxic, sheesh. i’m kinda liking the development, though!

edit: happy characters = happy reader. decent ending, i’d say. yay!

aww, so sweet! albeit a little weird, messy and morally questionable (depending on how you look at it), but super adorable nonetheless.

much, muuuuch better than i expected! especially the latter half of the story. i truly didn’t expect this to have such an endearing ending, though. what was a nice surprise!

i’d say this whole ordeal’s been a mildly redeemable version of stockholm syndrome. what i usually consider the most when rating something is the final outcome—not necessarily the way we got there. (although that depends, too.) given that both FL and ML seemed pretty damn content by the time we reached the end of this story, i don’t feel like i need to criticize anyone’s choices anymore. even though the ML could’ve handled things MUCH better in the beginning, it’s not something we can change or just erase. what’s done is done. FL loves him and is happy with him. i see no indicators that ML will turn back on his behavior towards her now that she’s fully accepted him. he’ll most DEFINITELY treat her like a queen, lmao. anyway, i don’t want to romanticize coercion or manipulation. i just feel like that doesn’t have that much of an “affect” on the way she perceived him once she found out his identity.

i throughly (and unexpectedly) enjoyed this manhwa—despite me only checking it out for the smut initially, lol. stayed for the plot development and emotional intrigue, though!!! (even if there weren’t a lot of either.)

7/10 for capturing my interest!
