I haven't read this in years but this was one of my first BL stories and now its completely ruined. Like why this? I just saw spoilers and it's honestly horrible. There are millions of other plot points this could have followed, or maybe a AU would be better as well, I would’ve love a fantasy or something like a mafia AU maybe or literally anything else but this. It's ridiculous how a perfect and story got ruined just like that.
Anyone read the raws and knows what they are thinking? I mean the opinion if crystal clear here but this wont reach the author. I'm curious what the "official" / korean readers think?

Nah this made me so uncomfortable. I will never accept that she abandoned her son only to come back once he married rich. Thats not remorse. She could have come support him but she only took money and a house and even his son and husband. That's selfish. She didn’t even explain, a single ""Im sorry"" doesn't fix what she broke in Hyesung.

That thought of killing dane comes from his toxic traits of Dominic. He did get urges lik Dominic but he didn't do wht Dominic did, n that's wht made him different and that's wht all the story is about. And that the sole reason why his story is the main one. Of course that doesn't justify the actions. But I evaluated Grayson based on the fact that he really didn't knw anything at all and his core nature doesn't seem bad to me. Has it been any other characters, and I will not go beyond this universe, like Nathaniel or Ashley or Kieth in place of Grayson, I would have never considered them as green. I only said that about Grayson because of his mental condition as he literally got treated at every possible hospitals.

I couldn’t wait and read the novel. 10/10 totally enjoyed these two lovebirds!! ML is an absolute devoted green forest even though he is half demon hahaha but seriously if you have time and enjoy reading, this is such a good story/novel!!
A few spoilers:
Duke is completely and utterly innocent and clueless when it comes to intimacy so Ren tells him what to do
Their first time they can't really do it because Ren is too tight so they stop, I actually loved this, it's probably the first time I read a story where they actually stopped and talked about it.
A few days later Ren thought they wouldn't do it again because Duke hadn't brought it up again, but then Duke tells him he did try again because Ren said it hurt. During that conversation ehm.. lets say the Duke found a way to loosen Ren up... using his fingers.. they did it in the laboratory? (The underground place where Duke studies magic)
10/10 spicy scenes, especially when the Duke is in his demon-human form? He has a longer tongue in that form...That was interesting to read ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
They are super affectionate and stuff but of course Ren keeps thinking that they will eventually have to divorce but he is happy and wants to cherish the memories they make together.
But of course drama rises, I didn’t like that one knight, Anton? He kept trying to 'gaslight' our MC Ren by saying that the Duke doesn't really like him as a partner and would eventually toss him away once he marries a women and Ren is so sweet and kind he believes it. So he runs away on the day they have their first dance as a couple and Ren had just confessed his love.
I loved that the 'runaway' arc had an actual purpose and was ultimately even necessary for the later half of the story!
I absolutely loved how they reunited!!
A lot of other stuff happens and all the while these two are absolutely passionate and sweet!
Rens sister eventually returns and does in fact take her original place as Duchess, but again, I loved how this was done in a way that actually delt real and not forced. She is a sweetheart and loves Ren so much!! I really likes her character!!
Now something I absolutely didn't like, BIG SPOILER!!
Ren is a super strong magician and his older brother(the crown prince who bullied Ren his whole life) kidnapped Ren because of that.
And during that he uses magic to torture Ren and at one point he takes on the form of the Duke and Ren thinks its the real one and kisses him but then he realized its not the real one. Nothing intimate happens but the brother then keeps saying he can stay in the Dukes dorm and do 'stuff' with Ren ... yeah nah that parts really made me gag.
The revenge on the disgusting brother could have been better but yeah
Ultimately I loved this story!!
And what I'm personally curious about, after they discovered Rens magic, it was said that if he unlocked his true power he can male life and stuff and when Ren was sad about the fact that they cant have a child between them,the female spirit asked him 'why wouldn't you be able to have one? I also didn't mate with a male' (she has a son) but it wasn't further talked about.
I read there is a side stoy too?? Was that mentioned there? I couldn't find the side story so Im not sure.

Its been a long long time since I read the novel but from what I remember I had the feeling that ML still could be the Dukes biological son.
