I met someone who didn't understand existential crises. She said she had never had an existential crisis ONCE in her life. A while ago I told my brother "I hate when your ears start bleeding" and was surprised to learn that's not an everyday issue.
Just now, I was enjoying my time and an overwhelming hurt that I am myself washed over me. I wouldn't say I hate myself because I don't feel angry I just feel hurt that I am who I am and guilty for still existing. I just didn't know how else to word the question. I'm old enough now to recognize that it's not a productive thought and to just move on so it's not a problem really. But I started wondering if someone like that girl without existential crises exists but, instead of existential crises, they have never had a random wave of guilt crash into them. Then I wondered if maybe I'm the strange one for these thoughts like I am for having my ears bleed sometimes. (dw i figured out my ears lol) Anyway, don't answer if it'll make you unnecessarily sad thinking about it but I am curious how common it is to feel like you make the world worse when you're just chilling. Not because you did something you regret, because that's different but like even when youre laughing and having the time of your life that feeling will step in to remind you "don't be so happy you make a room less enjoyable because you're in it." MS as in middle school.
There are a couple of novels that I remember reading is middle school, but can't remember the titles of. I remember finding them pretty interesting, and I want to read them again, so if any of this sounds familiar, pls drop the names of the novels that you think might be it. Even if it's not, I might just check them out either way.
1. An outcasted kid with a diamond shaped birthmark on her face joins a circus (?) I'm like 70% sure that there's magic involved, but I could just be misremembering. Also her birthmark makes her "ugly" which us why she is outcasted.
2. A kid's single mom (or aunt) suddenly dissappears without a trace and she tries to look for her. I remember that the mom/aunt left a note of some sort pinned to the fridge. I don't remember much.
3. This one's like a retelling of the red queen's past from Alice in wonderland (i think) When she was younger, she fell in love with a jester. But the king/ruler of the land she lived on was infatuated with her. In the end, the jester was murdered (i forgot who did it) and that's how she became the queen, bc she wanted revenge on the jester's killer. It was smth like that, probably a lot more complicated than that lol.
4. Another Alice in wonderland-type story. There's this girl who has a hobby of framing butterflies and hanging them in her room. She likes to draw, and she's depicted as this weird girl at school. She meets this guy and she agrees to meet up with him at a skatepark (?) I forgot the rest, but I'm like 99% sure there's magic and other worldly powers involved. Might even be a popular YA novel.
5. Don't remember much abt this one (shocker, I know) but the girl is a tutor at her college (maybe high school) and she tutors this one girl who is popular (?) but she finds out that the girl is secretly pregnant, but it's the result of rape by this one guy, and they become friends, i think.

I'm watching interview with the vampire as of now and as we all know lestat as a incestuous relationship with his mother but i genuinely don't see anyone taking seriously and as the abuse it is. Just jokes and it's so disgusting to me. I think when killing stalking was really popular the fandom made similar jokes towards sangwoo and I'm just so tired of it. Most cases of child sexual abuse is done by a family member these adults who are in incestuous relationships were groomed and or abused and i already know people are going to make up a scenario of two long lost siblings that don't know they're siblings and get together and find out and the ethics of that so don't even try. I never studied my whole high school life nd my grades were decent even tho I was always absent but I never got honors, which is why I'm taking my senior high school life seriously now. (to make my parents proud yk) I kinda messed up 11th grade because of a terror teacher and teachers who CAN'T teacher for the love of god. which made me lose my motivation to take grade 11 shs seriously
But now, I'm taking 12th grade seriously. I've been using all my power to actually study, even if it's just an hour a day and it's working ig i'm getting high scores on every test.
Here's the problem: I became a group leader. My teacher chose me!??? I've always said I can't do that since I prefer just following orders and not making decisions myself. i always refused!! My situation right now is really bad. My groupmates are fcking lazy and leaves me on delivered in the GC. What the f*** should I do? No one listens to what I say! I can't call them out or say they're useless because I know damn well they're all going to team up, backstab me, and flip the story.
