To readers,
I humbly accept the criticism that several scenes in Episode 1 contained disrespectful depictions of other cultures and people.
Even if the direction and themes of the story differ from what you may be concerned about, I have decided not to launch the work, as the fundamental limitations of this project's premise are clear.
I believe this situation has revealed my complacent attitude toward human rights sensitivity when handling a specific era and setting, and that my storytelling lacked sufficient care and nuance. I am deeply ashamed.
In my eagerness to focus on the characters, I failed to fully recognize that I was replicating problematic historical contexts and representational tropes found in past works.
I also deeply resonate with the criticism that the characterization in question was not something to be treated lightly within a genre.
What I had told myself was passion for the stories, I now recognize as arrogance. I was not as prepared or as careful as this story required me to be.
I apologize for any displeasure caused to you, and I will carry this reflection with me as I continue.
Sincerely, JAXX
Well...how long till people start making videos about how twitter harassed an innocent artist who didn't know any better and that black people are sensitive?

So I read this long back, I forgot the name but I still remember some gists of the story,it is a short bl only a few chapters based on University bl there are two Guys one is Gay and another one is straight , the straight is athlete he plays basketball or something, he has orange hair I think they suddenly kiss And Then he fell for him
So I remember these scenes from the story
S1: They go for a car ride, they stopped in the bridge it was Sunset time and the straight guy confess to the other one and they kiss And make up.
Another scene, they make out while in that process the straight one wears the lingerie of his ex (the same lingerie made a disputes between them before it belongs to the MCs ex girlfriend)
If someone have read something please help me find this

Hello! I'm looking to be friends with someone to learn/practice German with. I'm interested in
German but to make it fair I'd like if I could also teach you something if you're interested.
I'm fluent in English and Spanish so if you're fluent in German and want to learn or practice either of those two let me know :). Must be an adult, preferably someone close to my age 22-27.
*My hobbies are: playing video games (steam, nintendo switch, 3ds, some apps). Watching anime
(slice of life, comedy, yaoi, yuri, idol, sports). Reading manga
(I mainly read yaoi, yuri, and some shounen). Reading in general. Drawing (traditional but learning
digital).
*Things I really like: Holostars EN. Uta no prince sama. Hypmic. Playing video
games with friends. D4dj. Making ocs. Playing visual novel games (especially romance indie ones). Games like Animal crossing, Arknights endfield, Stardew valley, Pokémon, Fire Emblem. Anime like
banana fish, natsume yuujinchou, durarara. Psychology and learning new languages.

Just read a comment saying people think they can get away with anything once they’re famous enough and it’s true. We need to bring back Wendy….

Do you like Yaoi because of the plot? Or because deep down you don't believe a man could ever truly love a woman the way men love each other in BL

So I finished Dungeon Meshi and The Girl From the Other Side, and I recently caught up with all of Witch Hat Atelier. My god, I’m in love. Like, genuinely obsessed.
I’m desperate for more stories that feel similar to those. Something fantasy-ish, with that same cozy, atmospheric vibe. I know Witch Hat Atelier is not exactly “comfortable” once you get into it, but the art and overall feeling of it still feels so warm and homely somehow. And of course, I want something gorgeous to look at too.
I’d also really love something with queer undertones. No outright straight romance, please. Lesbian or gay relationships are totally fine, but I’d prefer romance not to be the main focus. I don’t know if I’m explaining this well, but hopefully you get what I mean.

I haven't read it, I just saw an IG post of it and when I checked it here, I read the comments first and it was pretty fun to read it.
So what do y'all think? Should we boycott it? And when should we do it?

my cousin recently came to me frustrated about something that's been bothering him for a while.
he told me he's straight, but he really can't stand religious fanatics, especially when it comes to homophobia and strict gender roles. he told me about an intense debate he had in class with an overly religious boy at his college. according to him, most people sided with the religious boy, which wasn't surprising given how christian-ingrained our country is. but some of his classmates (mostly the top/honor students, he said) and even one of the the religious boy's friends took my cousin's side.
when i told him he could just ignore people like that, he said he knows he could, but what makes him angry is the way some of them act so certain they're morally right while shaming other christians who support lgbt people and telling people they're going to hell. he told me he often points out what he sees as hypocrisy, and while that usually gets him mobbed online, he still stands his ground.
he also told me that one thing he's noticed is that when some religious people feel cornered in an argument, they usually do one of three things: . 1. they accuse him of being gay then mock him or 2. pull out a bible verse instead of answering the question directly or 3. just say "truth hurts."
he had a long conversation with me. part of why it affects him so much is because he has lgbt friends, a lesbian cousin (me), and a brother he cares about. hearing some of the things people say genuinely upsets him.
i admit i get angry too. i told him i used to argue with people like that, but now i mostly block and avoid them for my peace. my cousin says he can't do that because the comments still get under his skin and he said their dumbness amuses him at the same time.
so i'm curious what other people think.
why do some people care so much about other people's sexuality or gender roles? and do you feel like homophobia is getting worse, staying the same, or improving where you live?
