- if you're out of the loop, long story short : ganbare nakamura got adapted to anime. The anime basically "sanitized" the story. Some people found out about the source material and went up to the author's twitter profile and harassed them while calling them a pedophile. The author ended up deleting their account.

Personally, i joined fandoms way before pro/antiship bullshit was a thing. But i'm starting to get annoyed with these moral police. Especially if they started harassing artist/creators just because they don't like something about them. Idk maybe it's just a cultural difference here in asia, but everytime western fans start moral policing fictional works it just feel so hypocritical. Like, I don't even like painter of the night but I heard it was only getting 2 minutes.
