Why?

For me, I would save Hyesung from Love is An illusion.
I read it when I was in middle school, and I hated him but once I matured somewhat, I realize the hate was too extreme for someone who went through a lot (rape, abandonment, etc). Even now, his husband (no matter the yearning) is disrespecting him by hiding something for years after marriage. I just can’t find them compatible, and I just think Hyesung deserved a good circle instead of all that drama. I remember majority of the comments were hating on him so much, but his rapist husband was better somehow.

I only remember a bit of this before the reading list purge but it’s about coworkers and this girl who “wants” to climb the social ladder and get with this typical got accomplished guy but falls for a guy that looks “plain.” The last I remember was him coming back from an errand dripping wet from the rain and she hands him a towel to prevent anyone else from seeing his good looks lol.

How come whenever people talk about this author or their stories they mention "Form of Sympathy" and "Park il-woo and I", but they don't mention "For Your Love" made by the same author? Is "For Your Love" just not good enough for people to talk about, mention or read?! "For Your Love" is one of my fav BL out there! how come people just don't mention it when recommending or talking about the author and their works, why?!?! BL fandom why?!?

Don't care if it's straight, wlw, or mlm. Give me all the stories with chasing arcs. That type of chasing arc that will have you rooting for the main character to escape (lol).

This was one of my 1st manga(I read from mangatoon), from as far as I remember girl(the fl) has a special blood which was not known but someone kind of important needed blood transfusion, so then you know what they did. And this "special blood" comes from a restricted island where people are very high intelligent. Then when the secret was out that fl was from that island she was taken back there, then they made her do so many military tests with another girl...

I was watching a tiktok video on Connor from Detroit becomes human, how he was experiencing boredom and how that's very human, and that it goes to show him being more that just machine, and I was like really? You can use boredom to identify humanity? I never thought of it that way.

But It also made me think about this one review I saw under the Little Mushroom novel on novelupdates, where someone was like "the MC is more human than some of the human characters despite being a mushroom" because I think the human characters were cruel or selfish (I haven't read the novel). And again I was like, Really? A stupid mushroom is deemed more human than humans. Don't humans themselves demonstrate what humans are, even the most selfish and cruel ones? Or is humanity just all the positive traits?

sorry for the unclear title! i fell completely head over heels for axed manhwa and finally decided to buy and translate it’s original novel to english, as no one else has done it yet and no official English translation has been mentioned since its release 4 years ago… _(´ཀ`」 ∠)

this might not be the right place to ask, but i know that there are at least 3 people (other than me!) who would sell the majority of their organs for a translated version of the novel, and i wonder where and how to give those people access to my (very basic and non profit!!!) translation. i don’t know anything about programming, so making a website of my own might be too hard for me… (；ω；)

I'm a new genshin player and I've been playing for about a week or two now and i never interacted with the fandom before, I just went onto pinterest to look at the characters and learn the lore and ngl it's amazing and the redesigns artists make are so soo cool I wish it's canon but anyways, the hate against the women of genshin is soo forced. I get that misogyny is almost everywhere now and, well, fanservice. But the designs are genuinely so cool and amazing, I never once felt hatred towards the female outfit designs because it's just awesome to look at! I do get the hate that some of them are made for the male gaze but belittling these characters to uphold characters like arlecchino just because they don't wear revealing clothes is misogynistic itself imo....wish more fans get this but idk interacting with fandoms in general spikes my cortisol levels
