Ok guys hear me out, so let’s say you’re proposing or asking someone to be your partner right, but you are making this grande so its on a stage, at a busy fancy restaurant or whatever. Like for me whenever i see rejections like that i have this thought of why would anyone do that. Like obviously you guys have a solid relationship for the other partner to have the courage to ask that question, but if you’re going to reject it why embarrass them in that moment rather than go along and explain later on your rejection and why you feel that way.

i haven’t been watching anime consistently for the past year, but i’m starting to get back into watching seasonal anime to keep up with new releases. i’m making this post to discuss, recommend, and receive recommendations about the current spring 2026 season. disclaimer that i’m not watching any sequels because i don’t know any of the continuing anime and am not interested.

first of all for the ones i like so far are nippon sangoku and yomi no tsugai.

i highly recommend nippon sangoku. the unique art style and animation really captured my attention. the first episode starts off with a bang and is very fast paced. it’s more like a prologue to the main story. second episode was still good. characters are interesting including our mc. i’m excited to see where the plot goes.

yomi no tsugai is made by the same author as fma, but they are different. still the same shounen genre though. i like it so far, but things could definitely go wrong seeing as how the manga itself has such a low rating. it’s entertaining though, so i’ll keep watching it.

another anime i’m watching is witch hat atelier, probably the most popular one this season for its stunning animation. i have to admit so far i’m not super hyped about this since 1. i usually don’t watch anime with a bunch of little girls especially one being the mc and 2. magic and witches being the power and theme. i heard the two male teacher characters carried the fandom with their yaoi, so let’s see if their relationship is any good. also qifrey’s voice as tanjiro really throws me off.

i’m also thinking of watching ganbare! nakamura-kun!! if it turns out decent. i still remember people making renditions of the manga cover with their own ship on twt.

any recommendations? i’m open to suggestions. usually into shounen, sports, seinen, psychology, mystery, shoujo, etc. not into slice of life, mecha, romance with the male gaze

I've been wondering if there's any reason why there's no updates lately. Did the author announce a hiatus I wasn't aware of? I would appreciate a little info on what's going on, because I miss those two :'(

It's funny how when I get period cramps so bad I'm throwing up and shitting myself, people's suggestion is to pop a midol and get back to work! Or worse, just deal with it! It can't be that bad! But when people are throwing up and shitting themselves from food poisoning suddenly they're allowed to go home and rest. It's soooooo funny how nobody cares about women's body but Johnny gets to cry about eating 3 day old leftovers he WILLINGLY brought to eat. This is my villain origin story. So is it just me or does the child neglect in these isekai stories upsetting to see. I mean there are so many stories of being reincarnated into a family with older or younger siblings and the mc just melts the parents heart, but like their siblings are stuff ignored or not shown any affecttion cuz they aren't as cute as the mc, and so the author makes the siblings love the mc so they can get just a litle bit if affection, frankly its hard watching these kids beg and push themselves for attention and when their parent finally learns how to show a child affection, they dont get it. Especially because of the excuse well the mc is a girl so it doesn't matter how I treat my son, like damn.

Ok so like i got my board result today
it is an school examination which is pretty important in India
I scored 100 out of 100 in maths and scored pretty good in all other subjects except english
Like not calling anyone dumb or being mean but i got very less marks than my classmates who like were literally failing
and this dropped my percentage to 93 percent
and like i am not able to believe or accept it that i can get that low marks
My parents are satisfied with my percentage and telling me to let go saying that it doesnt matter
but it does to me
like i just cant process with this ik that there's a mistake i cant get such low marks
and because of this i am not able to focus on my current studies or anything else for that matter
even my teacher said that there must be a mistake and i should get it rechecked
well i can ask for a revaluation but not rn
i seriously have no idea when will the revaluation portal be open and when will i finally have my marks corrected
what should i do?
ik it might sound like i am making a big deal out of nothing but the stress is killing me
it feels like all the hard work went down all my late nighters my efforts wasted
