so I've considered myself aroace for the longest time. i'm not out or anything but that's just what I think. i've never been in a relationship or been involved in anything romantic including sex stuff. i also don't necessarily dream of being in a relationship or having a partner hence the aroace labeling. but... I'm a big fan culture enthusiast and my obv recent obsession is hudson and connor iykyk. NOT in a parasocial way or anything and obv how they (and any celebrity/public figure) portray themselves is not exactly how they are in their private lives. But like theoretically let's say they were exactly like that irl I feel like I wouldn't mind being in a relationship with them? I'd probably like it a lot. so would that not be aro? but i feel like it's only because they're exactly the type or personality/person I like and it'd be nice to just be friends too? maybe it's cause since I'll never know them I'm attracted to them as if they're fictional characters. I've never imagined myself enjoying a relationship with anyone I've ever known irl nor have I ever been attracted to a stranger or other celebrity.

My best friend of six (or... seven...) yrs just went through some mental shattering heartbreak with her situationship(don't judge). Like she genuinely lost her confidence and overthinks more than before this incident. He went back and apologized to her after realizing that he made a big fuck up. I feel like it's so fucking unfair that he just went back to her life, probably happier than ever, while here she is completely shattered by a mere male. But whatever, it's her heart. Not even she can control it.
So that's the context on why I feel like a fucking loser. We've been friends since middle school but these days, actually maybe since high school (we're not in the same major anymore), we're more like each other's therapists rather than friends.
She just vented to me about another friendship she got with this two fuckers who clearly doesn't give a fuck about her, but she still wants to give them a chance since they've been friends since HS. I just told her what makes a friendship special isn't the length of time, but how much they actually care about each other.
Which I think is ironic cus I myself think our friendship is special cus we're friends longer than anyone else's in our lives? Yeah she's probably one of the reason why I'm still alive to this day but idk.

What if your supposed beloved wanted to escape from you, and due to self-incident as the method, became diagnosed with Retrograde Amnesia? Meaning they cannot remember what happened before the incident, but they may remember only the good first year they met you?
They want to become closer with you, and they tell you:
They reached up and touched your cheek, their thumb stroking just below your eye. “I look at you, and I feel… safe. And warm. But I don’t remember the love you gave me. I’m sorry.” His expression crumpled with genuine, but kind regret. “I hope, one day, I remember your love. I don’t want you to have loved someone who can’t remember it.”
