So I don't use tiktok and haven't for a long time so who knows how big this has actually gotten, but this was one of the biggest reasons I left and it still leaks thru to my areas sometimes so I'll ask.

What's everyones thoughts on the whole "gooner-games/characters/media" and the people against it. I think the easiest example is genshin where people are forever complaining about character designs with short skirts.

I personally found it ludicrously annoying and think it almost loops back into misogyny. It seems like maybe because tiktok is home to mostly children theres an attitude of "I don't like this, but I can't just not like something it has to be wrong". But I feel like the amount of times people say things "Check their hard drive" or "This was NOT drawn by a woman obv" to regular art is just bizarre. I've also noticed sexualizing women with more dominant characteristics is more acceptable (a la mommy).

I'n my opinion implying that the only way a woman should be allowed to be sexual is if they are one kind of woman, and otherwise it is indicative of some form of deep perversion or even criminal intent is deeply dehumanizing to women, far more then the gooner art targeted would be. I also find the argument of if one gender is sexualized the other has to be too dumb. Sometimes people just want their generic guys and 18 bunny girls, sometimes people just want their generic girl and 18 otome guys, while my bisexual ass would love more games to play for both teams it's reasonable for games to make characters that appeal to them and their audience even if that means one gender is more sexualized.

I’ve been very curious about what other people think when straight women authors make the plot point where it’s a historical romance and the fl is isekai’d into a “dark romance toxic bl”.

The fl changes the plot and she becomes the center of the story, then the original mc in the bl falls in love with her, when he was originally gay in the story. It completely drifts away from bl and it’s fully straight

I’ve read a few of these stories before, I didn’t really think anything of it. All of them were pretty meh so I don’t think this particular plot point makes them more interesting compared to other stories.

But I saw a person commenting that they didn’t like it when authors did this and it got me curious. Are these plots inherently problematic? I was just wondering, plz don’t jump me ^^

So..I really really have been looking for this one webtoon/manhwa that i genuinely forgot the name of. And earliwr this year when mangago reset everyones account i obviously lost the info. I don’t remember the names so we will do boy a and girl a (obviously themain chatacters.)

Some help to help confirm it may be the manhwa/webtoon:

-colored webtoon
-black haired boy mc
-when they have devils tango (cough cough) he can see the ghost or something (maybe a power/essence) but he sees something YELLOW inside of girl a (hes able to see this cus hes an exorcist or whatever)
-in the webtoon they try to get boy a’s ability back to have emotions from the ghost in boy a.
This is one of the main things they try to aim gor in the webtoon

So this webtoon is 18+, its a smut. Andits also a mix of supernatural/ghost/apparition.

Its kind of a niche because i remember atleast when i read it half a year ago, there we’re lowkey like under 5k reads.

So i dont really remember the plot. However i do know that someone is possesed by a ghost. Either girl a or boy a. I believe boy a? But what i do know is boy a has a power, and its to exorcise people. However, he isn’t able to feel any emotions when exorcising. This is VERY important.

And this becomes very hard. Because all the people he wants to exorcise- they obviously want someone with emotion and to see that their exorcist- cares. That its true tha the exorcist wants whatever is possessing them- gone.

But hes literally incapable of showing that. Over time hes overcome this, and mastered the art of faking smiles and emotions.

But he realizes, whe he meets girl a (which was a one night stand but obviously

From what i remember, The 1st chapter of the story is i think ml and mc are in a hospital because they got into an accident. If you guys know "Even after your death" The ml looks like the mc of that story bcuz he has the same hairstyle as Taeju but is like blonde on the outer and black inside.
