Fushidara na Hanatsumi Otoko
I was troubled by Kotaro's actions when Ayumi had to leave and Kotaro had to take care of Kyoujo. i mean, he is very much in love with ayumi so he didnt have to overthink about Kyoujo. sure, he can be troubled about doing something behind ayumi's back but the moment he cared too much about Kyoujo made his character dubious. im just glad that he became absolute about his response when e he refused Kyoujo. Also, Akari was a pain in the ass but him being underhanded makes sense. also, the chief is pitiful here because he got roped in but didnt even get to have a partner in the story HAHAHA
ps. i sense a good story for Kyoujo and Akari. i just wonder if Akari can remain "pure and innocent" even after knowing a man cause Akari has been a bitch before meeting Kyoujo.
shades captor
the flow of dialogue is confusing and even the plot is all the place. the author made an ambitious attempt to blend sherlock holmes with a distinct storyline that does not match. it may look like it's well blended because their lives intertwine but it doesnt because the story of xiaowei, xaiofeng, xiao, and mi sheng could stand on its own.
Oshiete, Ookami-san.
The first chapter put me off so I backed out. after months, i decided to continue and realized i was cringing too much and forgot to appreciate the appeal of a character with an impulsive or manipulative change in personality. Narita was actually appealing and charming but too cunning with Chitose. Somehow, it makes me forget that he really likes Chitose and isnt merely teasing him. the story of Ren and Eita is so cute and yep, Eita fits the role of a beastly boyfriend. Mao and Kyo are actually really comedic and outright refreshing. Im rooting for Jun-chan HAHAHA
Ichika, bachika
Can you really be that curious about gays that you try it out with your friend or did knowing that your other male friends were dating gave you an opportunity to seduce your other male friend? cause seriously, these people just jump the gun and its difficult to comprehend the boundaries of their intimacy. although, sure. it must be the casual transition of friendship to lovers that occurs between close friends that were only lacking sex in their relationship. to me, their relationship are more out of youth than a relationship with the future in mind (if u dont count accomplishing all 48 sex positions before graduation as thinking about the future). still, the story is refreshing.
The Wolf in the Flower Shop
A good filler manga after reading heavy drama. it reminds you of the fluff and wholesomeness of being attracted to someone. I like the contrast of their personalities even if you meet them for a short while.
Blood Bank
The overall concept is amazing! Although, the execution is somewhat disorganize and chaotic, the message surfaces. The art is pleasing and fitting to the concept of apocalypse and supernatural. The conclusion is also promising because it opens a new story instead of capping it off. I'm a little disappointed that Eric's identity stopped at acceptance but i guess everyone's identity in the story showed enough to keep the theme vampire x human going. I was expecting his identity to be more flambouyant, but the author did great at keeping it more of a subtle and invisible trait that is helping the world adjust to a new system of equity.
bottomline: this is more of a societal documentary that included key people's love story.
I Have A Boyfriend
it starts off slow, or maybe manhwa's are really written like that...but the character growth really shows and the love is there. i just feel like the ending stopped abruptly and hoped to know more about their transition living abroad.
The Voice Next Door
comedic and wholesome. it's sad that good looks weigh heavily in the beginning of the relationship but the way Jaehyun accepted Jaeseok after knowing his secret is heart warming.
Asobi Ja Nai No
classic yaoi one shots. the pacing is quick and straight to the point. you met the characters, one sided struggle or conflict, and capping it with sex.
Shitteru Yo.
